Mark Briggs
Mark Briggs is responsible for developing the overall strategic direction of ABILITY and leading the continued growth of the company. He has over 18 years of healthcare and healthcare IT management experience, with a stellar track record of achieving aggressive top and bottom line growth, creating exceptional shareholder value, and building market-leading companies.
 
Prior to ABILITY, Mark served as Chief Operating Officer of Carefx Corporation, a leading provider of interoperable clinical workflow solutions. Before Carefx, he held executive leadership positions in NaviNet, was the President of MPI Solutions at QuadraMed Corporation, and served as the Chairman and CEO of LinkSoft Technologies.
 
Mark holds a Master’s in theoretical physics and a Bachelor’s degree in physics, both from Dartmouth College.


James P. Bradley
Jim Bradley has a proven track record of strategic leadership in establishing, growing and operating healthcare information technology companies.   Mr. Bradley has served as the Chairman of the Board for ABILITY Network since September 2011. 

Previously Mr. Bradley held executive leadership positions for numerous healthcare companies; CEO of Healthy Interactions, CEO of RxHub (now SureScripts), CEO and founder of Abaton.com and CIO of United HealthCare Corporation.  Mr. Bradley is a popular speaker and lecturer on health policy and health information technology topics. 

Mr. Bradley’s not-for-profit Board service has included the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) which he chaired from 2002 through 2005, and the Research Foundation of the American Society of Health System Pharmacy.  He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of Minnesota Medical Center—Fairview.

He received his MBA from Washington University, St. Louis, MO, and his BS and MS degrees from the University of Illinois.


Jeff Crisan
Jeff Crisan is Managing Director at Bain Capital Ventures which he joined in 2002 after working in Bain Capital’s Private Equity group since 1998. Jeff focuses on healthcare, education, and technology investments, including healthcare services, healthcare IT, for-profit education, software, and technology-enabled business services. While at Bain Capital, Jeff focused primarily on technology and healthcare investments. Prior to Bain Capital, Jeff was a consultant with Bain & Company.

Jeff received an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School and a BA, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, in Mathematics and Government from Dartmouth College.


Andy Hurd
Andy Hurd serves as CEO of MedeAnalytics, a leading provider of healthcare performance management solutions. Andy has more than 25 years of healthcare IT experience and leadership, including product and market innovation as well as strategic partnerships. He was previously CEO of Epocrates, the market leading mobile platform for clinical content and practice tools at the point of care. Before Epocrates, Andy served as chairman and CEO at Carefx and held senior management positions at WebMD Corp, CenterBeam, Inc. and QuadraMed Corporation.

Tony Miller
Tony Miller serves as Managing Partner of Lemhi Ventures, a venture capital firm he founded in 2006 to build the capital base and value added approach to forming and helping companies continue to advance the marketization of the healthcare industry. 
Throughout Tony’s professional career he has been at the forefront of transforming the health care system with companies built around the belief that value driven healthcare can reshape the delivery system.

Prior to founding Lemhi Ventures, Mr. Miller was a co-founder and the CEO of Definity Health, a national market leader in consumer-driven health benefit programs, which was sold to UnitedHealth Group in 2004.  Mr. Miller regularly serves as an industry expert in articles and other news coverage and is a frequent speaker on the topics of consumer-driven healthcare, health policy and health reform.  Prior to founding Definity Health, Mr. Miller was a consultant at Deloitte Consulting where he focused on strategic business development in the managed care industry, including mergers and acquisitions, market development and performance turnarounds. 

Tony holds an MBA from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management and an MS in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.


Mark Pulido
Mark Pulido is a nationally recognized expert in the healthcare and distribution industries.  Previously he served as the Chairman of BenefitPoint, Inc. as well as its President and CEO and director.  Mark was with McKesson Corporation where he served as President, CEO and a director.  Mr. Pulido also served as President and CEO of Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Corporation (now Novartis).

Mark has served on a number of Board of Directors including Quidel Corporation, BHC, Charles Schwab Corporation, Imation Corporation, Sunrise Medical Inc. and Smile Brands Group.

Mr. Pulido previously served as a national trustee of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Trustee of the Burnham Institute for Medical Research, and the RSF Foundation.  He is past Chairman of the Rancho Santa Fe School Endowment Fund.

Mark holds a BS degree in pharmacy from the University of Arizona and a MS in pharmacy administration from the University of Minnesota. 


Randy Schmidt
For more than two decades, Randy Schmidt has held financial management and leadership positions in a wide range of companies in the health care industry. His experience spans finance, accounting, underwriting, compliance, equity investments and acquisitions in both public and private companies. His background as a CPA and his success funding, managing, and exiting start-up health care companies provide Lemhi’s portfolio companies with seasoned operational experience and broad industry perspective.
 
In his early career, Randy spent nearly ten years in accounting, underwriting and provider network management with Prudential Healthcare before assuming a series of CFO posts in companies including publicly held eBenX and privately held Definity Health.

Randy holds a degree from Minnesota State University-Mankato, and currently serves as board chairman of TransEngen, Inc. an PlanSource Corp., and as a director of DestinationRx, Inc. and ABILITY Network, Inc.
